About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, and other operations
- Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects
- Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards
- Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic
- Develop, mentor, lead, and manage leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel
- Analyze competition and develop creative marketing programs to drive revenue
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team and ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Interview, hire, and coach on-site staff as necessary
- Maintain residents' files according to company standards
- Maintain a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up
- Manage the overall community budget and finances
- Work with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of Property Management experience
- 3+ years of Management experience
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
- General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage a team
- Ability to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods
- Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Real Estate License preferred
