About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment
  • Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, and other operations
  • Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects
  • Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards
  • Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic
  • Develop, mentor, lead, and manage leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel
  • Analyze competition and develop creative marketing programs to drive revenue
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team and ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Interview, hire, and coach on-site staff as necessary
  • Maintain residents' files according to company standards
  • Maintain a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up
  • Manage the overall community budget and finances
  • Work with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Real Estate License preferred
