About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s)
  • Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, and air distribution systems
  • Monitor and adjust all mechanical/pneumatic equipment as necessary
  • Verify field conditions and perform repairs or adjustments
  • Monitor Energy Management
  • Repair doors, ceilings, and other general repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance duties in accordance with standards and best practices
  • Inspect equipment and verify cleanliness of rooms
  • Document and report activities to supervisor
  • Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 3-5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting
  • Appropriate license/permit for trade as required (i.e. Journeyman or Master Electrician License, Refrigeration Certificate of Fitness, etc.)
  • Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Knowledgeable in energy management systems and building systems operations
