About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems
Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, and air distribution systems
Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s)
Monitor and adjust all mechanical/pneumatic equipment and other equipment to provide a comfortable environment
Perform preventive maintenance duties in accordance with standards, including changing filters and inspecting equipment
Document and report activities to supervisor
Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred
5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting
Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required (e.g., Refrigeration Certificate of Fitness, High Pressure Boiler License)
Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s depending on market licensure requirements
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
Knowledge in energy management systems, techniques and operations
