About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct thorough research on properties using various data sources
- Investigate property characteristics, zoning information, sales history, market trends
- Gather and organize data on comparable properties, market conditions
- Assist in the preparation of appraisal reports by entering researched data into appraisal software
- Keep up to date with local real estate market trends and regulatory changes
- Work closely with appraisers to ensure all required property data is collected
- Maintain and organize property files, research notes, and databases
- Review collected data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree; Industry related field preferred
- 1+ year of experience in real estate research and/or market analysis required
- Experience in data entry/data management and time series analysis/forecasting
- Strong data software applications skills
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
