About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a trusted operational partner to Managers, Employees and People Partners, enabling a consistent and positive HR experience.
  • Support employee relations case management, including documentation, investigation support, and consistent application of policies (in partnership with ER/IR as needed)
  • Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback, and best-practice people processes
  • Provide advice and interpretation on contract and policy application
  • Improve the quality and reliability of people data by actively supporting Workday as the single source of truth and contributing to compliance-focused initiatives
  • Support policy reviews and continuous improvement HR frameworks
  • Contribute to HR projects, organisational initiatives and the uplift of HR capability nationally
  • Assist HR People Partners with complex case management, organisational change activities and workforce planning considerations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources Advisory experience with demonstrated practical application of ER/IR principles
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, coach and partner effectively with leaders at all levels
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline preferrable
  • A proactive mindset, strong analytical capability and the confidence to navigate complexity
