About the role
- Collaborate with the Americas PR team and regional leadership
- Develop and execute regional content strategies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries
- Lead the development and execution of proactive media relations campaigns
- Partner with local subject matter experts to create and promote content
- Publicize the firm’s key transactions and research insights
- Provide strategic counsel to senior executives
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts
- Conduct regular story-mining calls
- Prepare spokespeople for media engagements
- Actively monitor media hits and compile press coverage
- Provide quarterly reports on PR accomplishments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in public relations, including work in a PR agency or corporate environment
- Proven experience in managing and executing large-scale external communication programs
- Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in media relations, thought leadership campaigns and crisis communication strategies
