About the role
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Support preparation of consolidated financial statements & impairment assessments
- Manage group leases and perform financial statement analytics
- Prepare and review journals with clear, policy-aligned documentation
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- Assist with technical accounting research and statutory audit preparation
- Support cash flow forecasting and cash optimisation initiatives
- Assist with BAS reviews, ATO reconciliations, GST analytics & tax provision work
- Mentor offshore team members and contribute to process improvement/UAT
Requirements
- CA/CPA qualification
- 3 to 4 years in a multinational controllership or corporate finance team
- Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge
- Experience with SOX, balance sheet review & financial reporting
- Exposure to tax governance and audit processes
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and professional scepticism
- Ability to work across onshore/offshore teams and manage competing priorities
