Junior Personnel Administration Analyst – Time & Attendance Focus

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Calculate payroll, terminations, vacation pay, timekeeping and overtime/banked hours, and process payments of contributions arising from these calculations.
- Verify mandatory deductions and submit monthly and annual reports to the appropriate government agencies.
- Reconcile payroll postings and payments.
- Perform payroll calculations, bank credits, employee hirings, contractual terminations and vacation payments.
- Execute payroll tax payments, reports and internal statistics required by law.
- Manage employee vacation schedules using the calendar provided to managers to ensure compliance with legislation and avoid double vacation pay or payments outside the legal deadline.
- Generate RAIS by compiling employees' salary information for the year so the Ministry of Labor can determine eligibility for the salary allowance.
- Generate DIRF by compiling employees' annual salary information to report to the Federal Revenue Service and inform employees about their Income Tax (IRPF) calculations.
- Maintain and resolve inconsistencies in the electronic timekeeping system.
- Provide monthly provisions for vacation and 13th salary, and supply payroll summaries and charges to accounting.
- Regularize relevant certificates through each agency's website, checking for any pending issues so the company remains compliant with its obligations.
- Monitor changes in legislation relevant to the area.
- Respond to labor and social security inspections, supplying requested information and documentation.
- Provide documentation to support defenses in labor lawsuits.
- Support various activities as directed, according to the needs of the area.
- Guide and review ad-hoc tasks performed by junior-level staff.
- Train and develop junior-level staff.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with the ADP system.
- Experience in Personnel Administration.
