About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical oversight and direction within Curtiss-Wright’s aerospace actuation group.
- Serve as a technical expert on aerospace actuation equipment and systems such as hydromechanical actuation systems, electromechanical actuation systems, motion control systems, flight control actuation, power drive units (PDUs), high lift systems, integrated hardware/software aerospace systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or equivalent) is required.
- A master’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or equivalent) is preferred.
- 15-30yrs of experience in aerospace actuation / flight controls is required.
- Demonstrated experience leading communication with customers on technical topics, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Demonstrated experience in bid & proposal creation.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and refining/deriving requirements.
- Demonstrated experience creating aerospace reliability analyses such as FMEA and FMECA.
- Demonstrated experience leading root cause / corrective action initiatives.
- A track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
- A track record of creating and refining technical governance and best practices.
