About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Full profit & loss ownership: budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reviews, cost reduction, pricing strategy, and capital justification.
Strategic Sales and management of proprietary processes.
Creating short and long-term sales opportunities and growth initiatives.
Lead daily operations through tiered accountability meetings, visual management, and 5S/Lean principles.
Maintain and expand Nadcap merit status (Chemical Processing, NDT, and Coatings checklists) and AS9100 certification.
Serve as primary customer interface for OEM Primes and Government visits (DCMA, DCAA, DLA).
Drive continuous improvement: first-pass yield > 98%, on-time delivery > 98%, scrap/rework < 2.0%
Oversee Environmental, Health & Safety program (zero OSHA recordables target, air consent order, wastewater treatment and permit compliance).
Manage annual CapEx plan
Develop and execute strategic plan for capacity growth, new specifications, sales opportunities.
Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership team; maintain positive morale.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Sales and Management experience in Metal Finishing, Quality AS9100 / Nadcap experience, or special processes.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace chemical processing/coatings (phosphating, dry film, powder coating, or anodizing).
5+ years of full P&L responsibility for a $35M+ manufacturing business unit.
Proven track record maintaining Nadcap merit and AS9100 certification with zero major findings in the last 3 audits.
Strong knowledge of aerospace prime requirements.
Strong financial acumen: budgeting, cost accounting, make-vs-buy analysis, quoting, and capital justification.
U.S. Person (ITAR compliant).
