About the role
- Identifies, develops and secures new business opportunities with OEMs, VARs, and direct customers in their assigned territory or domain.
- Serves as a relationship manager for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent communication, delivery satisfaction, and issue resolution.
- Monitors contract performance, renewals, and pricing adjustments to maintain account profitability.
- Conducts regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and align on future needs.
- Accurately tracks and manages pipeline activities in CRM tools.
- Represents the company in customer meetings, product demonstrations and trade events to build brand recognition and capture leads.
- Prepares and delivers sales presentations tailored to customer requirements and aligned with company value propositions.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and promote sales.
- Works closely with sales management, engineering and product teams to understand customer requirements and align solutions.
Requirements
- Progressive sales or account management experience, preferably in the Petro-chemical/Oil and Gas sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B technical sales environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of sales cycles, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Willingness to travel to support sales activities and client engagements.
