About the role

  • Develop and release complex PWB / Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in an R&D Environment
  • Work alongside other multi-disciplinary teams of engineering experts and program development managers to execute full PCB design
  • Ensure designs are created in accordance with applicable design standards
  • Aid checking completed design layouts and drawings to certify standards, procedures, specifications, manufacturability and accuracy of physical dimensions
  • Conduct Comprehensive design reviews with engineering and manufacturing teams through design completion
  • Plan and execute PCB design Tasks in accordance to project schedules
  • Participate in PCB Product Failure analysis and provide insight and/or recommendations to engineering teams
  • Release completed designs into CW Document Control System (Agile)
  • Assure Released Documents conform to standards

Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 Years experience, 10+ years preferred
  • Routing mixed signal, high-speed digital (100 – 400 GHz), analog and low power high current designs in high reliability environments
  • Extensive knowledge experience designing high-density interconnect (HDI)
  • Solid Command Experience using Siemens Expedition (PCB) as well as Siemens Expedition DX Designer (SCH) tools
  • Able to generate parts for the PCB environment and update/maintain libraries, control integration to SCH files
  • Able to generate Fabrication drawings per ASME and CW standards
  • Understanding of IPC-600, 610 6012 and 7351 industry standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft office: Excel, Outlook, Power Point
