About the role

  • Generate high-quality leads and secure meetings with potential clients for software development offerings
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting activities
  • Utilize various tools and platforms, including cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and other outbound tactics to identify and engage potential clients
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the account executives
  • Maintain a high volume of daily outreach activities
  • Collaborate with the team to align outbound efforts with inbound marketing strategies
  • Track and report on all sales activities and results using our CRM system
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and our company's services
  • Work onsite at the Philadelphia office directly with other salespeople and the CEO to build out the Philly sales office and expand the client base

Requirements

  • A technical understanding of software development, whether through past career experience or your own side projects – we’re looking for people who have opened up a terminal and written code
  • You don’t need formal sales experience to apply, as we’ll provide all the training you need
  • Ideally, in Philadelphia proper, but the surrounding suburbs are OK as well if you’re willing to commute into the city
  • Ability to use data in decision-making
  • Fast learner, motivated to earn money, and growth-oriented
  • Outgoing, good with people, and able to think on your feet
  • Able to learn and pick up new software tools quickly
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good at time management and organization
