About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own product design work for one of the Pods, partnering with Product and Engineering on discovery, concepting, prototyping, and testing
  • Strengthen and extend the design system alongside another designer
  • Design and potentially implement components where useful
  • Explore design infrastructure with the Head of Design, including AI-enabled design workflows and design-to-code processes
  • Enable the Design team to handle frontend-adjacent work such as polish, small UI fixes, and prototyping in code
  • Participate in customer calls and research with the Design team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years as a product/UX designer or design engineer, with a portfolio showing real shipped product work
  • Comfortable reading and writing basic front-end code, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React
  • Able to prototype, contribute to a design system, and discuss implementation with engineers
  • Strong interaction design and visual design fundamentals
  • Judgment to know when detail matters and when it does not
  • Self-sufficient and comfortable in a small team with varied responsibilities
  • Experience working directly with a design system or component library team
  • Nice to have: experience with AI-assisted design/developer tooling, including MCPs and design harnesses
  • Nice to have: experience at a B2B SaaS or vertical software company
  • Nice to have: experience with customer or user research
