About the role
- Own the billing and payments roadmap and feature delivery for a core product value proposition
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand customer needs and pain points
- Support definition and prioritization of features and requirements based on customer feedback and market trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customer support to ensure successful product development and launch
- Monitor product performance and user engagement metrics and use data to make informed decisions about product improvements and new feature development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to gather feedback and inform future development efforts
- Help manage the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of features and releases
- Execute a comprehensive product strategy to meet and exceed adoption targets; perform market analysis and articulate the unique value proposition
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience with at least three years in product management, preferably in a startup environment.
- Experience with billing and payments
- Ability to maintain focus, and make decisions without perfect information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to be hands on with our product and process, and lead the team by doing
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development processes.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity, desire to dive deep, and willingness to learn
- Experience in a vertical SAAS company is a strong plus.
