About the role
- CurbWaste is an early-stage vertical SaaS company transforming the Waste Management industry
- Serve as QA Analyst and gatekeeper of product reliability, ensuring features are tested thoroughly
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to identify issues early and define test strategies
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects; perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Contribute to scalable QA processes, tooling, and standards; advocate for usability, performance, and reliability
- Participate in agile ceremonies to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in software QA (QA Analyst, QA Engineer, or similar role), ideally in a SaaS environment
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test case management and issue-tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira)
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Passion for quality and a customer-first mindset
- Experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, or route optimization is a plus
- Background in vertical SaaS or industry-specific software is a plus
- Must be based in the NYC area with valid work authorization
