About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and maintain accurate compensation databases and records to ensure that providers are compensated in accordance with their employment agreements
  • Research, analyze, and interpret data to calculate compensation for providers based on encounter productivity
  • Work collaboratively with the Payroll Department to provide timely and precise payments in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and providers to explain compensation processes and to resolve payroll inquiries
  • Contribute to process improvements that make compensation and productivity management more efficient and transparent for all users
  • Provide reporting and insight to leadership to support business decisions and provider satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required; background in accounting, finance, payroll, or a related field preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency — this is a must
  • Process improvement mindset: you notice inefficiencies and want to fix them
  • Exposure to healthcare data or a healthcare operations environment is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to manage sensitive, complex information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you can make numbers make sense to people who don't live in spreadsheets
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization
