About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead small to medium project teams to successful outcomes aligned with project goals and success metrics
- Build high-performing teams with project leadership, assess team strengths and growth areas, and assign tasks
- Develop project scope, deliverables, schedules, and fees into comprehensive proposals
- Support design and technical leaders in delivering coordinated packages across multidisciplinary, multiphase projects
- Maintain work plans, labor plans, schedules, and team tasks
- Foster collaboration, communication, and accountability, escalating issues to the Project Executive as needed
- Monitor project budgets and align tasks and deliverables with team time and performance
- Plan and lead internal and external meetings and communications
- Manage project financial performance using Deltek Vantagepoint and related reporting tools
- Identify opportunities for additional services and pursue fees proactively
- Identify and manage project risk
- Manage day-to-day client relations with the Project Executive
- Administer owner and consultant contracts, including budget, schedule, and scope reviews
- Oversee technical submissions requiring a signature and seal
- Support staffing decisions and revenue projections
- Contribute to project pursuits, proposal content, and interview preparation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Architecture License is required
- 10+ years of project management experience across multiple markets
- Civic, healthcare, and mixed-use experience preferred
- Willingness and ability to work across a range of market sectors as project needs require
- Business development experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, AIA Contracts, MS Project or similar, and Deltek Vantagepoint
- Familiarity with Revit/BIM 360, Miro, and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to manage project risk, budgets, and schedules
- Curiosity about improving projects and teams, with follow-through
