About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop design solutions across all project phases through an iterative, collaborative process — sketching, 2D/3D modeling, and computational methods — in alignment with project success metrics, and applying regenerative approaches to the built, social, and natural environments.
  • Develop and document projects through both creative design and technical detailing, including interior massing studies and space planning/programming.
  • Explore interior materials and document regenerative material options, building awareness of building codes as they apply to interior materials.
  • Coordinate furniture selections and specifications; engage with manufacturer's representatives and support library maintenance.
  • Research project types and industry trends to inform design direction.
  • Plan, develop, and participate in design presentations.
  • Coordinate BIM models and documentation internally and with consultants, contractors, and other disciplines for the best design outcomes.
  • Participate in construction administration activities alongside the Project Architect and on-site staff, including on-site observations and verifications.
  • Own quality of work within your assigned focus area of the project.
  • Proficiently use MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Revit/BIM 360; build working familiarity with Rhino, Enscape, and Lumion.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–8 years of professional experience in interior design
  • Professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Experience across multiple phases of design, from concept through construction documentation
  • Themed entertainment, attractions, or experiential design experience strongly preferred. Experience across other markets is welcomed.
  • Working knowledge of Revit/BIM 360, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
  • Exposure to Rhino, Enscape, or Lumion is a plus
  • Familiarity with FF&E selection, specification, and manufacturer coordination
  • Understanding of, or willingness to develop expertise in, interior materials and applicable building codes
