About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build high-quality, innovative, fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications
- Support and/or install software applications
- Participate in software testing through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flows, data usage, work processes, and problem areas
- Follow the software development lifecycle and document and demonstrate solutions
- Develop flow charts, layouts, and technical documentation
- Evaluate requirements, solution development, feasibility, and proposed solutions
- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
- Define applications and interfaces, allocate responsibilities, and understand solution deployment and contextual interactions
- Define nonfunctional requirements and apply architecture, programming, testing, traditional development, and agile standards
- Collect, analyze, and summarize development information and issues while protecting confidential IT assets
- Conduct systems analysis and recommend application improvements
- Collaborate with users and global engineering teams on feature development and technical investigations
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in Artificial Intelligence & Business Analytics, or a college/university/equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
- Relevant equivalent experience may substitute for the degree requirement
- Familiarity with AWS services, APIs, databases, telemetry data flows, logging platforms, and distributed system architectures
- Ability to integrate and analyze data across multiple subsystems
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering, agent design patterns, and AI-driven decisioning systems
- Ability to develop and enhance full-stack applications using modern web and cloud technologies
- Ability to support cloud service development, integration, and deployment
- Ability to create and execute automated tests
- Knowledge of code reviews and software engineering best practices
- Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve cloud-hosted applications
- Ability to document technical designs and implementation approaches
- Ability or willingness to learn cloud architecture, cybersecurity, DevOps, and Agile development practices
- Entry-level candidates within two years of completing their highest degree from an accredited U.S. college/university
- Must currently reside within the continental U.S.
- F-1 visa students must have approved CPT or OPT before the Early Career assignment begins, related to their degree and authorized by their university
- Experience as a software engineer through temporary student employment, internship, co-op, or extracurricular team activities is preferred
- Experience in an Agile environment and fundamental IT technical skills are preferred
- The position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
