About the role

  • Develops functional and technical test methodologies, plans, scenarios and cases for testing of applications and systems at various stages of development and implementation;
  • coordinates and executes testing to ensure quality solutions and efficient system performance;
  • reports testing results and tracks resolution of issues identified during testing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in the manufacturing industry, specializing in IT systems quality assurance and process reliability.
  • Proven track record in leading QA initiatives for MES platforms, enterprise applications, and integration projects.
  • Test Strategy & Coverage - Design and execute sprint-based test plans using exploratory and risk-based approaches.
  • Ensure comprehensive validation through a mix of automated and manual testing.
  • Maintain traceability between user stories and test cases to meet acceptance criteria.
  • Issue Resolution & Deployment Quality - Log and prioritize defects using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) for fast resolution.
  • Validate release candidates through regression and smoke testing before deployment.
  • Monitor post-deployment metrics and conduct root cause analysis to improve future sprints.
  • Automation & Stakeholder Engagement - Develop and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide clear QA reports and engage stakeholders during sprint reviews and demos.
  • Continuously refine QA processes based on feedback to improve efficiency and impact.
