About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field.
- Act as the front-line representative to customers.
- Perform complete diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment at the customer’s location.
- Develop productive customer relations.
- Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance.
- Assist with completion required documentation.
- Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all meaningful Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience as an engine technician.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on engine systems efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to operate a service vehicle, including safely using service cranes and other heavy equipment as required for field service repairs.
- Class A or B CDL (preferred but not required).
- Cummins Engine Certifications in midrange, heavy duty or high horsepower (preferred but not required).
