About the role
- Supporting Engineering: Assisting developing requirements of L Platform Global VII engine. Support with building test benches and wiring schematics.
- Compliance Knowledge: Developing and maintaining laboratory environment and automation testing using CAN tools and other tools for data acquisition.
- Employee Relations: Assisting other team members within the controls and electronics organization.
- Policy Adherence: Ensuring all lab safety and policies at met and followed.
- Team Support: Supporting team members in need of controls setup and system integration.
- Report Management: Understanding and assisting in controls automation testing and generation of test reports that meets with today’s V-model structure.
- Record Keeping: Coordinating and maintaining laboratory test setups, materials, and component inventories.
Requirements
- We are looking for a wide range of candidates studying towards an Automation/ Energy/ Electrical/ Automotive Engineering degree course.
- Strong logical thinking, effective time management, and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Ability to show initiative with a creative mindset.
- Evidence of extra-curricular or voluntary experience in line with Cummins company values may be beneficial.
