About the role
- Assist with the creation of design specifications considering application, cost, weight, performance, product life, ease of manufacture, ease of assembly and service requirements
- Verify designs using investigative skills and/or functional testing, interpret results, drive conclusions and assess risk
- Apply engineering and/or scientific skills and knowledge to develop experience in creating engineering solutions. Development of these skills will enable you to participate in and contribute to design and safety reviews
- Support the investigations into New Products Introduction and Current Product support
- Collaborate with other functions such as Operations, Sourcing and Marketing, to ensure stakeholders requirements are met throughout the design and development process
- Validation tasks will also include record keeping, investigating test cell data, making test plans, drafting test reports
Requirements
- We are looking for a wide range of candidates studying towards a STEM related degree.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with good level of expertise using Microsoft applications.
- Experience in 3D modelling software such as Catia, Creo, Solidworks etc. is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn with strong attention to detail.
