About the role

  • Responsible for the preparation of sales analyses and reports for key stakeholders in the sales function & provides sales support for Cummins products and/or services throughout the sales cycle.
  • Gathers reporting requirements and analyzes data to provide recurring reports to the sales organization. Performs quality assurance and tests conclusions to ensure validity of the analysis.
  • Maintains accurate sales entry, reporting and forecasting through utilization of Cummins tools and processes (e.g., Cummins Sales Process, Customer Relationship Management systems)
  • Enters new customer data and updates changes to existing accounts in the corporate database. Seeks opportunities to utilize processes, procedures and initiatives designed to grow the business and increase customer value and loyalty.
  • Works with Senior Analysts and the Business Intelligence Leader to understand needs of end users.
  • Assures good communication and coordination across the Sales function and other departments in support of customer satisfaction, sales goals, and Cummins culture goals.

Requirements

  • A level in Maths, Finance or Marketing. Studying for bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or Finance. Power BI a plus.
  • Sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Tech savvy, project management and self-development.
  • Data analytics and data Quality.
