About the role
- Learn how a major global organization operates
- Participate in New Product Launch Projects
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Function from Concept through to Start of Production
- Use LEAN tools (including 5S) to drive continuous improvements
- Plan, design, purchase and implement integrated manufacturing and assembly processes
- Compile and present data on Key Performance Indicators
- Review/develop assembly workstation documentation using CREO/AUTOCAD
Requirements
- Wide range of candidates studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Keen willingness to learn
- Good level of IT skills including Microsoft applications
- Minitab experience beneficial but not essential
- Experience with CREO/AUTOCAD beneficial but not essential
