About the role
- Provide functional support to the team with data analytics related to the projects assigned.
- Support team with project management and lead own projects.
- Supports several aspects of a function’s Functional Excellence efforts. (e.g., ergonomics related tasks)
- This position may provide exposure to multiple Cummins business units and sub-functions within a global environment.
- Analyse and interpret data to draw conclusions to improve business processes, drive improvements in current processes.
- Use lean manufacturing tools to identify Waste in process and drive initiatives to reduce / eliminate waste in manufacturing processes.
- Successfully collaborate with other functions such as: Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, HSE & Planning
Requirements
- Studying towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree from across all Engineering STEM-related subjects and not graduating this academic year.
- Preferred Discipline: Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Engineering/ Automotive Engineering.
- Practical approach to support technical evaluation and ability to manage own challenging projects.
- Teamwork, ability to work on multiple assignments and within cross functional groups, very well-developed communication skills.
- PC literacy (Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook).
