About the role
- Applying a broad level of technical awareness across multiple engineering disciplines such as engine performance, mechanics, aerodynamics and design.
- Working with customers to manage their requirements, collaborating with internal stakeholders to review and assess against product capabilities, then developing detailed specifications for new products.
- Creating then managing validation plans to ensure products are robust and proven to meet the customers’ requirements. Leveraging internal testing capabilities within our laboratory operations by specifying test plans, analyzing data and leading technical reviews of the results.
- Supporting general customer enquiries, providing a high quality and timely level of service.
- Sourcing information, interpreting data, developing and implementing solutions that are results focused and to agreed deadlines, as per technical requests.
- Using internal systems and document libraries, ensuring robust written communication and record keeping.
Requirements
- Ambitious and adaptable with ability to propose innovative solutions to problems.
- Confidence in both verbal and written communication. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner with both internal stakeholders and our customers.
- Proactive mindset with willingness and ability to learn new skills, both self-taught and teacher led.
