About the role
- Providing dedicated support to one or more sourcing teams within the office.
- Working with a group of suppliers to assist on Purchase Order management, cost reduction, capacity planning, quality performance and risk mitigation.
- Specific project work in support of functional objectives.
- Involvement in Functional Excellence – opportunity to work with other Business Units in the region to help share common processes, tools and resources to better achieve business goals.
- Data analysis to support Purchasing KPIs and specific project requirements.
- Engagement with other functions, including Supplier Quality, Material Planning, Finance and Engineering.
Requirements
- Working towards a degree – preferably Engineering or Business related (and not graduating this academic year).
- IT Skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Focus on details.
