About the role

  • Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains mechanical systems using necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable.
  • Learns and understands protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
  • Perform and document preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship to meet quality expectations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team and support teams; may instruct or coach others.
  • Ensure safety: stop work and report major injury hazards; report work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard; adhere to HSE standards and procedures.
  • Recognize and minimize environmental impact of work.

Requirements

  • Able to read hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical blueprints.
  • CNC knowledge is preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations).
  • Associate’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience OR trade certificate with 4 years of relevant experience OR six years of relevant experience OR Department of Labor certification.
  • Must pass all related testing.
  • May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
