Finance Analyst – Placement Student

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support critical finance processes – Assist in month-end and year-end closing by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Work with forecasts & budgets – Help prepare financial forecasts, update models, validate assumptions, and maintain annual and periodic budgets.
- Analyse and improve – Compile and review financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate across teams – Work with different departments across the region, ensuring accurate and timely data submission.
- Enhance reporting tools – Help improve financial reporting templates, dashboards, and models for better visibility and efficiency.
- Learn and grow – Gain exposure to global finance processes, apply industry best practices, and build real-world skills.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently studying towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; foundation in Financial Accounting & Reporting, with interest in supporting month-end activities and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with great attention to detail; team player who can work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; familiarity with financial systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
