About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive alignment between business needs and technology by analyzing complex technical requirements and translating them into scalable, integrated solution designs that follow enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead the design and execution of high‑quality data migration strategies that maintain performance, ensure data integrity, and minimize operational disruption.
  • Strengthen business processes by recommending greater use of standard application functionality, reducing complexity, and improving overall capability.
  • Architect and deliver detailed technical designs and solution architectures for complex systems and integrations that support critical business and user needs.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end development lifecycle—including design, configuration, testing, and maintenance—to ensure reliable and effective delivery of key solutions.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of solution options by assessing scalability, integration complexity, technical fit, and total cost of ownership across both COTS and custom‑build solutions.
  • Enhance cross‑functional alignment by collaborating with architects, process owners, engineering teams, vendors, and infrastructure groups to validate requirements, clarify designs, and troubleshoot system performance.
  • Elevate team capability and solution quality by coaching team members, participating in design and cybersecurity reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards, governance requirements, and enterprise guidelines.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud products in medium to large environments (1000+ users).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex business problems.
  • Strong proficiency in Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation using Jira Automation, REST APIs, or similar tools (Python, PowerShell, etc. proficiency).
