About the role

  • Investigates electronic hardware problems, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.
  • Applies and supports the improvement of electronic hardware development processes and tools.
  • Obtains input and collaborates with electronic suppliers and delivers prototype hardware to application engineering teams.
  • Makes decisions in the areas of hardware requirements, validation tests that impact unit cost, functionality, and prototype delivery.
  • Owns problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, subsystems, or services with technical complexity and ambiguity increasing as experience is gained in the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in power electronics, automation or related fields
  • Familiar with PCB drawing, Analog circuit design, principles of motor operation, PID algorithms, oscilloscope and has experience in modeling or simulation using Matlab.
  • Has experience in embedded software tools
  • Good English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Strong learning ability, work responsibility, and teamwork spirit.
  • Familiar with Matlab, Python, FPGA, PSICE and Office tools
