About the role

  • Develop and implement a regional business development strategy focused on power generation projects.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities in industrial and commercial sectors.
  • Provide technical and strategic support to engineering consultants to influence project specifications and design choices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, consultants, and end-users.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, service) to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Lead bid preparation, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of secured projects to the Project Execution team, including all relevant documentation and stakeholder alignment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the region.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
  • Prior experience working with manufacturers or general contractors, ideally in a technical sales or project-related role.
  • Strong technical background in power generation, mechanical, or electrical equipment.
  • Fluency in German and English is required; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the region.
