Responsible for the installation, creation, monitoring, support, maintenance and optimization of databases; participates in design; ensures secure database access, data integrity and security, as well as manages performance and capacity.
Analyzes data on existing databases and makes process improvement and alternative approach recommendations to management.
Completes all phases of moderately complex database projects.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
Ensures database stability and reliability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4-7 years of experience as a Database Administrator managing Oracle and/or SQL Server in highly available production environment.
