About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and talent needs within the AEC space
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, ATS systems, networking, referrals, and industry associations
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for hard-to-fill roles
  • Conduct initial outreach to passive and active candidates via email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Screen candidates for basic qualifications, interest, salary expectations, and mobility
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Track sourcing metrics such as outreach volume, response rates, and qualified submissions
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor talent movements in the AEC sector
  • Support employer branding and talent mapping initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration or related degree
  • 1–3+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, preferably in AEC, technical, or construction-related industries
  • Strong understanding of AEC roles, project lifecycle, and terminology
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever) is a plus
  • Experience supporting national or multi-market recruiting efforts
  • Knowledge of US construction markets and major AEC firms
  • Boolean search proficiency.
