About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the end-to-end owner of Workday reporting , including advanced, matrix, composite, and dashboard reporting.
- Establish and maintain a centralized reporting framework aligned to business priorities.
- Ensure all reporting reflects a single source of truth across HR, Finance, IT, and leadership.
- Design and deliver executive-level reporting packages for: Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Board of Directors Quarterly business reviews and operating rhythms.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Build and maintain standardized reporting decks with consistent definitions, visuals, and narratives.
- Partner with HR and Finance leadership to anticipate reporting needs and elevate insights beyond basic metrics.
- Develop and maintain Workday dashboards and scorecards tailored to various audiences (executives, HRBPs, managers).
- Drive adoption of real-time, self-service analytics through intuitive and user-friendly designs.
- Continuously improve visualization standards to enhance clarity, usability, and decision-making.
- Implement and maintain a robust reporting governance model.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8+ years of experience in HRIS with deep expertise in Workday reporting
- Experience supporting Board-level or C-suite reporting
- Background in data governance or reporting standardization initiatives
- Four-year college degree minimum.
- Advanced proficiency in Workday Report Writer (Advanced, Matrix, Trended, Composite)
- Calculated fields and data modeling within Workday
- Workday dashboards and discovery boards
- Strong understanding of HR data domains (headcount, compensation, benefits, talent, etc.)
- Experience managing reporting intake and prioritization processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
