About the role
- Coordinate and provide support to Cost Managers and the client’s facilities staff
- Interact with client accounting and purchasing staff
- Gather and track quality data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends, and actual costs
- Maintain management reporting data
- Ensure regular and timely reporting of the projects’ financial progress
- Review documents filed by Cost Managers for accuracy
- Review and recommend changes to project documents
- Review pay applications, change orders, and contracts for accuracy
- Monitor contract compliance
- Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies
- Perform QA/QC process
- Provide basic cost scheduling and budget management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
- Experience: 3+ years in cost management, project controls, or related
- Preferred Certification: RICS, CPE, CCE, CEP, PMP, Six Sigma
- Proficiency in SAP/Procore
- Experience with various project control tools and software
- Experience gathering and tracking quality data relating to budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual cost
- Experience with the QA/QC process.
