About the role
- Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary plans
- Support 401(k) administration
- Liaise with carriers and team members to resolve issues
- Process and audit enrollment data in Workday
- Manage benefits email account and respond to inquiries
- Support monthly invoice reconciliation and enrollment audits
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
- Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, and external vendors
- Other duties as assigned
- Attendance at work during normal business hours
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in benefits and leaves of absence administration
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Strong degree of organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Detail-oriented and with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated internal service skills with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Multi-state and self-funded experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of benefits compliance, including ERISA, HIPAA, ADA/ADAAA, COBRA, and FMLA
- Workday experience preferred
