About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver instructor-led training, workshops, and mentoring to partner nation investigators, cybercrime units, intelligence personnel, and prosecutors.
Advise counterparts on technology-enabled counterterrorism and counter radicalization investigations involving gaming platforms, social media, encrypted communications, and online extremist networks.
Provide technical guidance on digital evidence collection, preservation, chain of custody, and case development.
Mentor investigators on OSINT, social media exploitation, network analysis, and intelligence-led investigations.
Support the operational application of AI-enabled analytical tools, threat intelligence platforms, and digital analytics to strengthen investigative capabilities.
Assist in developing investigative SOPs, training materials, tabletop exercises, and practical job aids.
Support the establishment of multi-agency investigative coordination mechanisms and facilitate investigator-prosecutor collaboration.
Contribute to technical assessments, after-action reviews, and recommendations for institutional strengthening.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Law, National Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience supporting counterterrorism, cybercrime, intelligence, national security, or technology-enabled criminal investigations.
Demonstrated experience investigating terrorist organizations, violent extremist networks, or cyber-enabled criminal activity.
Experience delivering international technical assistance, training, mentoring, or institutional capacity-building programs.
Practical experience with digital evidence, OSINT, social media investigations, cyber investigations, or technology-enabled investigative methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
