About the role
- Shares responsibility for the performance of work and oversight of all contract matters relating to daily operations of this contract
- Assists the Distribution Project Manager with tracking, reporting, purchasing and other administrative duties
- Acts as secondary point of contact if the Distribution Project Manager is not available
- Uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence
- Works under general supervision of higher-level personnel
- Shall have the ability to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements, within 48 hours of notification
- Serves as primary government point of contact when Distribution Project Manager is not available
- Ensures compliance, performance and reporting requirements are met successfully
- Designated POC in direct oversight and subcontractor management as directed by Program leadership
- Shares in overseeing all scheduling of personnel/work supervision/quality control
- Monitors cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs
- Recommends, develops, implements, and enforces procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program
Requirements
- Must have an active Secret government security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent five (5) years of Government or private-sector work experience
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or contingency operations management
- One-year previous supervisory experience, preferably in a government contract environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid US or local driver's license and US passport
- As needed, ability to successfully pass any medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of any deployment
