Key responsibilities & impact

Steer the delivery of automated fare collection and transit payment systems for public transit agencies
Manage mission-critical infrastructure projects involving software integration and physical deployments
Lead cross-functional, global teams to deliver ticketing and virtual card systems on time
Act as primary liaison between technical architects and executive agency stakeholders
Direct all lifecycle phases of complex system integration projects
Synchronize workstreams across geographically distributed teams
Manage stakeholder expectations and progress reviews
Maintain fiscal oversight of programs exceeding $25M in value
Identify, track, and mitigate technical risks and deployment variances
Manage third-party vendors ensuring adherence to KPIs and safety standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive program management experience
Experience in leading large-scale system integration projects within transit fare collection, electronic payments, tolling, or public infrastructure
Bachelor’s degree
Proven mastery of Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks
Deep proficiency with enterprise scheduling and tracking software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
Demonstrated experience leading matrixed, global teams across multiple time zones
