Sales Manager
Cube Care CompanySales Manager driving sales growth and managing team performance in a US-based custom manufacturing company. Leading initiatives to enhance customer relationships and sales strategies.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and facilitate weekly sales and training meetings to align team goals and performance.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, tracking key performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
- Monitor and analyze sales turnover rates to optimize team effectiveness.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas are met by each team member and sales team.
- Utilize sales/product training to keep sales team informed of product knowledge, selling skills, and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with HR Department to ensure proper staffing levels in sales positions and the development of team members.
- Work closely with executive leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that improve product lines and enhance sales performance.
- Educate the sales team by establishing training/programs of new account sales and growth, probability, improve presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of profit/cost expense, and execution of contracts.
- Foster a goal-driven, self-motivated sales culture, ensuring consistent follow-ups and accountability.
- Implement effective sales techniques and negotiation strategies to overcome objections and close deals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome objections.
- Create a Monthly Sales Plan to work with Sales Team and action plan to accomplish goals.
- Review, analyze, and act as needed for daily, week, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure and attend to all incoming leads are worked and reported daily.
- Perform random quality control evaluations with sales representatives.
- Understand and help with the investigation process.
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ Years of Sales Managerial Experience
- Proven track record of leading, developing, and retaining high-performing sales teams
- Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, both in written correspondence and presentations.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members.
- Proven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop and retain.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to build a cohesive team and solve conflict among team members.
- Proficient in business-related technology systems.
- Track record of servant leadership; serving others and putting team goals first.
- Owners mindset; takes ownership over everything within the scope of responsibility while still empowering others to do the same.
- Adaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities as needed.
- Strong ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate them clearly to team members.
- Demonstrate ability to drive results in the sales leadership role.
- A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement, fostering the same mindset within the team.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms.
