Key responsibilities & impact

Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams on Monday and Tuesday every week
Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement
Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs
Employ appropriate teaching strategies to communicate subject matter
Maintain compliance with accreditation requirements and CIAT policies
Submit documentation related to class requirements
Communicate with management about necessary support items
Promote collaboration with other staff members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
CompTIA Tech+ certification
At least three years of experience in the respective field OR two years of teaching experience
Synchronous online teaching experience preferred
Advanced subject matter expertise preferred
Effective presentation skills, communication and technology skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning technologies (e.g., Canvas)
Ability to multitask
Problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Compliance with all college policies and procedures
