About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Teaching synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams
Flexibility to teach during the day, evenings, and/or weekends
Plan and organize instruction maximizing student learning and engagement
Ensure alignment of instructional strategies with CIAT’s adult learner framework
Modify instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs
Actively maintain certification(s) in the subject area(s) taught through renewal
Design, update, and align course materials with college standards for adult learners
Review course material for accuracy and relevance
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards for instructional quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Appropriate certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Minimum of one year of experience in a training setting, ideally delivering IT certification bootcamps
Advanced subject matter expertise preferred
Synchronous online teaching preferred
Prior experience in curriculum development and instructional design for IT certification bootcamps
Familiarity with CertMaster, TestOut, or similar training tools is preferred
Effective presentation skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as learning technologies such as Canvas
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
