About the role
- National and international order processing and shipping coordination
- Preparation of shipping and customs documents for import and export
- Handling undeliverable shipments, misrouted consignments and shipments with transport damage
- Requesting missing customer documents and resolving any discrepancies
- Communication with contracted forwarders/carriers and our internal departments
- Verification of freight invoices and preparation of daily reports
- Preparing decision proposals based on analyses and proactively tracking processes
Requirements
- Completed training as a freight forwarding agent (Speditionskaufmann) or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in transport handling and claims processing
- Willingness to undertake further training in customs
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Conscientious and focused working style
- Good MS Office skills
- Very good German language skills and basic English skills (Level A2)
