About the role
- Develop and maintain automated test software for broadband and media devices
- Interface with hardware via automation scripts and control protocols
- Convert customer requirements and engineering inputs into reliable technical solutions
- Write clean, well-structured and testable code
- Maintain, upkeep and continuously improve automated test systems
- Train operators on test methods and test systems
- Document test processes and procedures
Requirements
- Trained Telecommunications Engineer (“Ingenieros de Telecomunicaciones”)
- Strong programming experience in C++, C# and Python
- Solid working knowledge of SQL for managing test data
- Hands-on experience building or supporting test systems that interact with hardware
- Familiarity with Windows development environments (Visual Studio, etc.)
- Experience designing and building internal tools or basic user interfaces
- Ability to troubleshoot and adapt solutions based on different device types and protocols
- Understanding of webservice / API calls
- Basic understanding of STB, router and network functionality
- Strong English and Spanish skills in speech and writing
