Provide support for initiatives requiring installation, testing, and implementation of new operating systems and system software solutions
Oversee maintenance, currency, and monitoring of operating systems and software solutions
Communicate with hardware and software partners for evaluation of new product offerings, problem identification and resolutions, and promotion of strong relationships
Collaborate with other mainframe system engineers, software engineers, and technical leadership to provide expert technical guidance and assistance
Analyze current software and business requirements to determine cost-effective and standard software solutions
Support change, problem, and incident management processes and procedures set forth by the technology organization
