HR Generalist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Apply HR best practices across onboarding, policy administration, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, and employee development
- Support the full performance management lifecycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations, through clear communication and training
- Serve as a trusted HR partner by consulting with employees and leaders on workplace concerns and employee relations matters
- Monitor employee engagement and recommend initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Manage a wide range of HR administrative tasks, including employee inquiries, data entry, job description updates, employment verifications, and HR reporting/KPI dashboards
- Provide guidance on benefits, payroll, PTO, leaves of absence, and other HR-related topics
- Lead monthly onboarding sessions to ensure a consistent and engaging new hire experience
- Develop and deliver HR-related presentations and training programs (e.g., Code of Conduct, goal setting, new hire orientation)
- Partner with internal teams, corporate HR, and third-party administrators to manage FMLA, ADA accommodations, personal/military leave, and disability cases
- Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS, including regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA and ADA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms, HR certification, e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP
