About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to gather and document business and technical requirements.
Analyze entity relationship diagrams, file specifications, and database models to develop detailed ETL mappings, Web API designs, and BI report specifications.
Perform data analysis, cleansing, test data creation, and verification during design and testing phases.
Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis, testing, and validation.
Create and maintain documentation including test plans, traceability matrices, work breakdown structures, and change requests.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in the development of testing documentation and matrices.
Identify gaps in processes or requirements and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
Facilitate customer meetings, including requirements gathering and JAD sessions.
Support Agile and structured project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a data warehouse or IT environment
4+ years of experience analyzing database structures and developing specifications for ETL, Web APIs, or reporting
2+ years of experience developing SQL queries
3+ years of experience analyzing business processes and workflows
Experience working in a client-facing role with excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must not require visa sponsorship
